“The Crew” Standards

Everything we do here at Crossfit Crew begins and ends with RESPECT.


Respect the facility, the coaches, your fellow athlete and yourself. Following these standards will provide the structure for you to reach a potential you have never even dreamed of…ELITE FITNESS.

1. Be On Time  -  Show up early, so you can get to know the people who will be working with you.  Get your warm up started and your gear ready for the WOD.  Tardiness will always result in 10 burpees and may cause you to lose your spot in class.

2. Treat the Box Right  -   Use the equipment correctly.  No ghost riding the bar (dropping it from overhead and walk away).  Avoid dropping a bar with only 10 Lbs on each side, they will break. Clean up after yourself.

3. Chalk Up Not Out  -  Use chalk as you see fit, but keep it in the bucket, you’re not LeBron James.

4. Trust the Coach  -  The Coach of the class has final the say on all matters.  Our coaches are trained professionals so trust their judgment and listen to their advise.

5. Keep your Clothes On  -  To maintain a clean and non intimidating environment lets keep our shirts on.

6. Speak Smart  -  Watch your language.  We have mixed company, keep it PG.  10 burpee penalty.

7. Be Positive!  -  The power of positive attitudes will prevail.  We are all in this together, lift each other up.  Everybody has something to add  when its positive.  Self talk is powerful.  10 burpee penalty.

8. We Can!  -  Never, ever, under any circumstance use the phrase “I can’t.”  You can, we promise. 20 burpee penalty.

9. No Need To Cheat  -  No cheating.  Full range of motion, every rep and every round is required.  If you lose count be honorable and start that set over, don’t guess.  Everyone else is doing the work you should too.  20 burpee penalty.
